1 Corinthians - Overcoming Divisions and Difficulties in the Body of Christ

by Precepts Ministry International

Registration begins in June.

Study begins: Wednesday, Aug 22 / 9:15-11:30 a.m. / 12 weeks

Teachers: Sandra Freeman & Mary Price

Why are there so many divisions in the church?  Why does the church sometimes tolerate sin? Are you experiencing any of the same problems that the Corinthians did in your own relationships or in your church?  If you have similar questions, this study is an important resource.  Learn how to pray by knowing God's mind and will on divisions.  What does God say about marriage, divorce, remarriage? Tongues?  Prophecy? Giving? Paul addresses these issues raised by Corinthian believers.

Experiencing God - Teacher:  Betty Jean Carter

Through examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God. Members will experience a relationship with God through which they come to know and do His will by learning to recognize when He is speaking. It will also help them to understand the importance of His timing. Our church will be helped to better function as the body of Christ, as members understand how to experience God.

Broken and Blessed:  How God Used One Imperfect Family to Change the World

Teacher:  Marsha Benson

This study traces the story of the Genesis family from Adam and Eve through the generations to Joseph, bringing blessing from brokenness. Despite both good and bad traits that were passed down, God worked for good in every generation—determined to transform those within and outside the family bloodlines.
